Reception
"Chez Irma" is a holyday cottage designed for 5 persons (max 7.).
In the neighbourhoods you will be able to discover the towns of Arlon, Habay, Bastogne or Luxembourg. The proximity of axes of communication, N4, E411, E25 will enable you to easily join cities like Brussels, Liege or Namur.
The masterwords here are meeting, relaxation and comfort. In an entirely renovated building combining modernity and old furniture we propose to you to discover the charms of an authentic campaign (Natural Parc of the valley of Attert). The surface available of 110 m ² is supplemented by a private court-terrace of 35 m ².
Located at the borders of Ardennes, Gaume, Luxembourg and Lorraine, it will allow you you ressource and to benefit from the best facets of various cultures.

Infrastructures
Ground floor
The ground floor is composed of a hall, a living room, an open kitchen and a WC.
The living room lays out of a settee 3 places, of a pouf, a table, a stove and a television. It opens directly on terrace-court and the neighbouring countryside. Firewood is available free.
A Internet connection by cable or Wifi is available as well as the cable television.
The kitchen is equipped with a furnace, plate vitroceramics, a lava crockery, a sink, a refrigerator with congelation part and cupboards of arrangement. Equipment: Scraper apparatus, rewashing machine.
The WC is separated and comprises a wash-hand basin.
First Floor
The first floor comprises two rooms and a room of water.
The back room is provided with a double bed, night tables and cupboard. It enjoys a splendid sight on our garden, the close fields and forests.
The front room is furnished with a simple bed and bunk beds with the possibility of adding additional bed folding.
The water room has of a shower, a WC and a piece of furniture wash-hand basin. It is prolonged in a wash-house provided with a washing machine.
Two auxiliary beds are also available on the spot and can be used either in the rooms or in the living room.
The whole is furnished and decorated in a mixture with old and contemporary pieces of furniture. The construction is recent and is well isolated, it means warm in winter and fresh in summer. The heating is electric.
Current total surface is 110 m ². The external private part is approximately 35 m ².
To avoid any risk of overheating and to support the intimacy, the windows exposed to the south are provided with removable external plates.
Outside
The lodging has two private external parking spaces for cars.
In the back there is a terrace court, intimates but not enclosed, with a garden table and a barbecue.
It opens on our kitchen garden and our chicken coop that we will have a pleasure of making you discover.
In the middle of a typical village, we guarantee you calm and quality of life.

The stays are declined under three durations:

Weekend: Friday to Sunday (departure before 12 AM)
Mid-week: Monday to Friday (departure before 12 AM)

NB Min stay 2 days ; +40 € cleaning
Guarantee -Payment
The totality of the payment is done either by transfer before the arrival or in cash with the handing-over of the keys.
Firewood is available on request.

A pet can be tolerated, on approval, after communication of the race, the age and the size of the animal.
Spoken languages
We are fluent in French, English and Luxemburgish. We have good knowledge of German. For Italian and Dutch our vocabulary is limited but we can find a translator if necessary.

History
All starts in 2OO8 or perhaps quite before, that year we bought half of the house of our neighbor, Irma R.
At the beginning we plan to transform it into a small house to be rented, but quickly the idea of a lodging of holidays is set up.
We must say that this house we know it well and even if it today it's completely transformed, it always remains for us "chez Irma", this small neighbor of another time which astonished us more than once.
The anecdotes are numerous, between the inside heat in winter (a cooker, two wood stoves, with fuel oil as well as a boiler, all with full mode), the coffee jug (cooked and reheated and re-re-heated), the repair of the roof (Mr. Fabian will repair the roof)… Adorable (with the children), very believing, she will have passed almost all its life in this house with her brother Ferdinand, ex-serviceman.
Even if the transformations are consequent, there remains only one hollow and the originals externals walls, we hope to preserve part of this history by our memories and interior decoration.
